Rob Mendez is a coach with a very unique style and approach to the game. Mendez was born with no arms or legs, stemming from a rare disease called “Tetra-Amelia Syndrome”. Since Mendez has no arms and legs, his approach to the game is through his mental, studying each and everything he can about football. Mendez took over the job as the JV head football coach at Prospect High. During his first season, the coach with no limbs took his JV team to a successful 8-2 season.
