Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins becomes the first player in weeks to drop out of this week’s Heisman race after we saw Kyler Murray and McKenzie Milton fall out last week. Murray’s back in the top three after a loss to Texas a week ago but a new face from Clemson pops up this week as well.
Continue reading below to find out who was added this week and take a look at our previous rankings.
1. Tua Tagovailoa, QB (Alabama)
Stats: 70.4% Comp/ 2,066 Yards Passing + 123 Rushing/ 27 Total TD’s
Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa continues to play like the best player in the country. He’s lead the Heisman rankings every week this season and I firmly believe that he’d be running away with the trophy already if he was actually able to play in the second half of all
2. Travis Etienne, RB (Clemson)
Stats: 8.2 YPC/ 801 Yards Rushing + 47 Receiving/ 15 Total TD’s
Travis Etienne has been the glue that has held the Clemson Tigers together so far this season. The biggest storyline coming out of the Tigers locker room on a weekly basis has been freshman quarterback Trevor Lawrence but make no mistake, without Etienne’s rushing up to this point the Tigers might have dropped a game or two.
3. Kyler Murray, QB (Oklahoma)
Stats: 72.3% Comp/ 1,977 Yards Passing + 428 Rushing/ 30 Total TD’s
Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray rebounded from his first collegiate loss with a four touchdown performance that elevated the Sooners past TCU. His lone blemish this season is his team’s loss to Texas, however Murray hasn’t had a lapse is stats all year. Can he keep it up?
