NBA Power Rankings: Pre-Season Edition

The NBA season is just around the corner and I know most of us are excited to see how this season will play out even if we know the Golden State Warriors will more than likely three-peat (Sorry everybody else). LeBron James moved from his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers to the Los Angeles Lakers who have one of the youngest rosters in the entire league while Carmelo Anthony has decided to go ahead and stink it up somewhere else (Houston). Tristan Thompson made headlines a week ago after saying the Cavs were still the team to beat in the East (Who is he kidding?) while Jimmy Butler is trying to force his way out of Minnesota who actually gives him his best chance at winning a championship.

With all of the great players and teams slated to take the court this season, let’s take a look at our pre-season power rankings.
